This past week, during the heavy rains and monsoon season, flash floods have resulted in deadly landslides. Catastrophic floods have killed over 800 in Nepal and Tibet, with more than 3,000 missing. An emergency grant through Presbyterian Disaster Relief is providing medicine kits, food items, shelter and more. As the needs change, the Presbyterian Church (USA) will support our partners through the long-term recovery phase. You can give directly to this support by clicking here.
You can be part of a vital community—even if you live outside Sacramento or never even step foot in the church. Tune in to Facebook for the live worship service 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. You can pray on your own, from your home or workplace each Monday at 3:30 p.m., knowing you are in the company of dozens of others doing the same thing.
