The South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership’s second annual Full Plates, Full Hearts event is happening this week, with loads of fun items worth bidding on. Bethany’s own Rev. Jesse Larson will act as emcee at the Wednesday night gala (March 9 at 6 p.m.)

On Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m., churches in the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership—of which Bethany is a member—will present a joint online Ash Wednesday service.

Bethany’s Session (board of elders) voted at its February 22, 2022 meeting to reinstate the weekly after-service coffee social hour. This decision was made in light of Sacramento County Public Health guidelines.

Bethany’s Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022 worship service focused on Black History Month.

Close to 100 refugee families from Afghanistan are expected to arrive in the Sacramento area shortly. There is a huge need for furniture to help them prepare for their new lives in America.

The “three wise men” were special guests at Bethany’s January 9, 2022, worship service, bearing gifts for everyone in attendance.
