Half a dozen Bethany members traipsed the Cosumnes River Preserve on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the church’s annual “Winter Wander” nature walk. Refreshments served in true “tailgate party” style rounded out the morning. The group experienced the flight and landing of thousands of snow geese—quite the sight. Bethany’s Bob Jensen, who serves as a docent at the preserve, gave helpful bird-watching tips. Thank you, Bob!
